Het Atelier van Oerol en Over het IJ is dé plek voor talentontwikkeling op het gebied van locatietheater. Ieder jaar bouwen drie nieuwe makers - via workshops, ontmoetingen en residenties bij beide locatietheaterfestivals - aan hun eigen theatertaal en visie op locatietheater. Hierbij staan hun artistieke steigers zowel in de natuur van Terschelling als op de industriële NDSM-werf.

Ieder jaar dragen partners in talentontwikkeling makers voor. Voor het seizoen 2021-2022 zijn performance- en videokunstenaar Finn Borath (Likeminds), danseres, choreografe en DJ Lucinda Wessels (Nineties Productions) en acteur en theatermaker Elias De Bruyne (Theater Artemis en Plan Brabant) geselecteerd.

The Atelier from Oerol and Over het IJ is the place for talent development in the field of location theater. Every year, three new makers – by way of workshops, meetings, and residencies at both location theater festivals – build their own theatrical language and visions of location theater. Their foundations lie both in nature on Terschelling and the industrial NDSM Wharf in Amsterdam. Every year, partners in talent development nominate makers. For the 2021-2022 season, performance and video artist Finn Borath (Likeminds); dancer, choreographer, and DJ Lucinda Wessels (Nineties Productions); and actor and theater maker Elias de Bruyne (Theater Artemis and Plan Brabant) were selected.
